AXA Achievement Scholarship

  • Seniors applying to two-year and four-year colleges with outstanding achievement in school, community, and work-related activities
  • $2,500, $10,000, and $25,000
  • At least one winner in New York and every community AXA has a presence
  • Every high school receives a $1,000 grant
  • Only the first 10,000 applications accepted

GPO Federal Creidt Union Scholarships

  • College-bound high seniors planning to attend a two- or four-year accredited educational institution
  • Must be a member of GPO Federal Credit Union
  • $250-$1,500
  • Based on academic achievements, extracurricular and community activities, and the quality of a written essay
  • Applications available in the Guidance Office
  • Deadline: January, 9, 2018

Elks Scholarships

  • Most Valuable Student (any student) and Legacy Awards (student related to Elk member) contests
  • Seniors pursuing a four-year degree on a full-time basis
  • $1,000-$12,000 per year for four years
  • Apply online: Most Valuable Student  Deadline: November 27, 2017

SP Scholarship

  • High school student planning to attend college in September 2018
  • $10,000 – 10 Awards ()
  • Apply online includes an essay question
  • Deadline: October 31, 2017

Maryknoll Scholarship

  • Students in grades 6–8 (Division I) and grades 9–12 (Division II)
  • $1,000 – 6 Awards
  • Apply online Entries must be written in English, only one entry per student.

StyleMann Young Professionals Scholarship

  • Students of any educational institution in any location. Academic level and major do not matter.
  • $1,800 – 1 Award

Sixt Scholars

  • Graduating high school senior with a minimum 3.7 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • $5,000 – 5 Awards

HSC Home Warranty Scholarship

  • High school seniors or college students enroll in semester beginning no later than Winter 2018
  • Must be U.S. resident living in the U.S.

Barbara Lotze Scholarships for Teachers

  • High school senior accepted for enrollment at an accredited two-year college, four-year college or a university, pursuing, or planning to pursue, a course of study leading toward a career in physics teaching in high school

Gerard J Buckenmeyer FASNY Volunteer Scholarship

  • Senior planning to attend an accredited two- or four-year college or accredited post-secondary school in Fall 2018
  • Member or parent/guardian member of Fireman’s Association of NYS
  • Currently serving with a volunteer fire department or EMS unit
  • Demonstrated commitment to volunteer emergency service and community
  • 25 $1,500 scholarships

Ned Carter Memorial Scholarship

  • Seniors who will be attending a two- or four-year college pursuing  a career in a community service related discipline
  • Related to a firefighter, be a firefighter, or be an Explorer in a fire department or fire district that is currently a paid up member of the Association of Fie Districts of the State of New York
  • All parts of application must be submitted as a single package
  • Application is available online or in the Guidance Office
  • Deadline: Applications must be postmarked February 24, 2018
