Come out on Friday, Mar. 9 and support the Central Valley Faculty as they square off in a friendly basketball game against members of local law enforcement.  Doors open at 6 p.m. and tip-off is at 7 p.m. in the CVA Gymnasium.  There will be a 50/50 raffle, “Dress Like a Thunder” contests, Half-Time Shoot-Around with the police team, a full concession stand, half-time dancing, and much more!  Admission for the game is only $3 per adult, $2 per student, and kids 4 and under are free. There will be fun for the whole family! All proceeds will support the CVA Ski & Snowboard Club.

The CVA Ski & Snowboard Club is a student organization dedicated to lifelong fitness, exercise, and the love of the outdoors in winter. On Wednesday evenings throughout the winter, members of the club travel by school bus to Woods Valley Ski Area in Westernville, NY for 4 hours of skiing and snowboarding. Additionally, the Club runs an end-of-season trip to Gore Mountain to experience a day of ‘Big Mountain” skiing and boarding. The CVCSD Faculty versus Law Enforcement basketball game is the only fundraiser the club runs and proceeds from the event help defray the cost of transportation to and from the mountain each week.
