How long have you been teaching or working in the district?

20 years

What do you like best about what you do?

I enjoy seeing the positive impact I can have in my students’ lives by not only fostering their academics but by also encouraging them to develop good character traits.

Where are you involved outside of school and what do you like best about it?

I participate in the Ride for Missing Children annually. It is a great encouragement to see the school community come along side me in supporting such an important cause. It is my mission to help educate others about the plight of missing and exploited children and to contribute to bringing education to our students on safety.

If you could do anything on a weekend, what would you do?

Ride my bike, gardening or going to see a movie

What book and/or author are you currently reading?

The Stones Cry Out by Randall Price

What is your favorite television show/movie/actor?

My favorite actor is Liam Neeson

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

Either Australia or Ireland. I would love to experience the beauty and culture of either place.

What one thing would you share that people might not know about you?

My husband and I have an apiary (a place where bees are kept; a collection of beehives).
