Approximately twenty cast members from Seussical the Musical will perform in the High School Musical Show Case at the Stanley Theatre in Utica, NY on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and can be purchased at the Stanley Theatre.
This is the second year of the High School Musical Show Case at the Stanley Theatre. Area High Schools are asked to present two numbers from their upcoming musicals. Each featured school will perform a small number and larger cast number. When Seussical the Musical Director Mark Bunce received the offer to participate, he could not pass up the opportunity.
“We are the only school performing from Herkimer County, last year only Oneida County schools participated.” he said.
“The cast is excited for a chance to share their talents with a new audience.”
CVA Drama Club will be performing Alone in the Universe and It’s Possible from this years upcoming production at the showcase. Other schools participating this year include Clinton Performing Arts Academy, New York Mills, New Hartford, Proctor, and Oriskany High School. Performance dates for Seussical the Musical are March 2-4 at 7 p.m. in the Central Valley Academy, Burton T. Seymour Auditorium.
