Keeping with February's theme of Valentine's Day, Jarvis Middle School students took part in the "I Heart Jarvis" campaign. The effort helped focus everyone on people and things they value.
Students were invited to take a precut pink heart and list all the things they love about Jarvis, their teachers, their friends, their families, or anything else they might love. They stuck each heart on a giant red heart on a board in the main lobby.
"It was a great way to see many students express their love and appreciation for a variety of things...to see students reading and sharing their messages with each other was wonderful," said assistant principal Luke Manolescu.
