A power outage at the Madison-Oneida Regional Information Center shut down the livestream of the Central Valley CSD Board of Education meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 26. MORIC officials informed the district that the outage would last until 11 p.m.

A district employee, working from home,  posted a notice on the livestream site informing viewers of the outage and sharing that there was space for limited in-person attendance in the LGI.

The problem was unexpectedly resolved when a MORIC employee was able to set up a mobile hotspot after the meeting began. The livestream and recording began at 7:15 p.m.
