CVA will be in full session Jan 25-28 after the NYS Education Department announced on Tuesday, Dec. 21 that it is canceling the January 2022 Regents exams. The cancelation is in response to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
What this means for CVA
- The school will be in full session for classes January 25-28, including all CTE and P-Tech classes.
- Any midterm exams will be administered in class.
- Students retaking a Regents course for credit and pass the course in January will be eligible to receive an exemption for the January Regents as a requirement for graduation.
- Students taking a Regent course for the first time will take the Regents exam in June and will not be eligible for the exemption.
