The world is abuzz with the big question, "Who will win the Super Bowl, the Eagles or Chiefs?"

The question took on a slightly different place as Jarvis Middle School students cast their votes for their favorite team in the "Soup-er-Bowl." Students collected more than 175 canned and boxed food items for both Ilion and Mohawk food pantries. Students chose their Super Bowl favorite by placing their donations on either end of the Soup-er-Bowl table in the Jarvis lobby. One end for the Eagles and the other for the Chiefs/

The final score was Eagles 136 and the Chiefs 39.

"It's a wonderful cause and a great way for students to bring attention to our local pantries and have some fun with it too," said Jarvis assistant principal Luke Manolescu.
