Missing student prompts brief Jarvis lockdown

A missing student prompted a 10-minute lockdown at Jarvis Middle School on Thursday, April 10. At no time were other students or staff at risk. Police had recommended the lockdown to ensure the student did not attempt to leave school grounds.

Alumnus establishes scholarship honoring principal
