The Oct. 24 Central Valley Board of Education meeting was filled with recognition. The board recognized the building principals and assistant principals for National Principals Month; Superintendent recognized the board for New York State School Board Appreciation Week; and the Village of Ilion declared Oct. 25 as “Jeremy Rich Day” in Ilion. Mr. Rich’s honor follows the Oct. 13 recognition of his selection last March as New York State Elementary Principal of the Year.
