Planning on attending a prom at CVA or another local school? Looking for an affordable prom dress option? Want to do something nice for others?
Then, come to CVA’s Large Group Instruction room (LGI) 2:15-3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15 to shop brand new prom dresses that will be sold for a fraction of the regular retail price (cash and credit cards only). Not only will you get a new (not used) dress, but you will be helping our veterans.
All the money raised from the sale of the dress will be donated to Fisher House for Veterans! A Fisher House is “a home away from home” for families of patients receiving medical care at major military and VA medical centers. The homes are normally located within walking distance of the treatment facility or have transportation available. There are 75 Fisher Houses located on 24 military installations and 31 VA medical centers.
So, get yourself a beautiful dress and help a worthwhile organization. It’s a win win for everyone!
