Barringer Candy Cane Sale raises $559 for Humane Society

Barringer Road Elementary held a candy cane sale this December to help raise funds for the Herkimer Humane Society. The students sold 2,236 candy canes for 25 cents each—$559 raised for the dogs and cats at the shelter. Melissa Bennett of the Herkimer Humane Society graciously accepted the check from the students.
