Celebrating the holidays at CVA

CVA was abuzz with holiday activities. Take a peek at a few of them:

The CVA library caught people in their “ugly” sweaters.

In a steady drizzle, the CVA Student Council delivered 50 cheer baskets to elderly residents in Mohawk and Ilion on Tuesday, Dec. 22. The Herkimer County Office for the Aging identified recipients and the student council members packed up the baskets and traveled by bus to each home.

The CVA Student Council held its annual Christmas for faculty children, complete with gifts, snacks, and Santa. Thanks to the CVA Chamber Choir for providing the holiday music.

The CVA staff took a moment to share great food and warm wishes at its annual staff luncheon on Monday, Dec. 21. And again, plenty of holiday music from the CVA Chamber Choir.

On Saturday, Dec. 19, members of the CVA Alliance Group volunteered at the Rescue Mission in Utica wrapping Christmas gifts for 100 different families. The students were thrilled to donate their time to such a worthwhile cause.
