Central Valley BOE expected to name Rich as School Superintendent

The Central Valley School District Board of Education is expected to name current Assistant and Acting Superintendent Jeremy Rich to the position of school superintendent at its next regular meeting on Thursday, Feb. 15. The board action would be consistent with its Jan. 24 announcement that board members had agreed to focus internally to seek a superintendent.

Rich was named assistant superintendent and acting superintendent on Dec. 14, when Superintendent Richard Hughes resigned to accept the superintendency of Frontier Central School District.

The board plans a brief reception following the anticipated action.

The Feb. 15 meeting begin at 7 p.m. in the Central Valley Academy LGI (Large Group Instruction room). As with all public board of education meetings, the community is invited.
