The Central Valley School District community is invited to join a celebration marking the launch of United Way’s education initiative, Ready for Kindergarten (R4K) 10-11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at Harry M. Fisher Elementary School.
R4K is a partnership between the United Way and Central Valley, Dolgeville Central, and Remsen Central School Districts. The program encourages families, schools, and communities to work together to provide environments and developmental experiences that promote growth and learning. The event promise to share how R4K is already having on school readiness.
During the celebration, young students will enjoy reading with McGruff the Crime Dog, creative movement with Mother Goose, a sing-along, and festive crafts.
