CVA presents Damn Yankees Feb. 28, Mar. 1 & 2

Damn Yankees LogoThe Central Valley Academy Music Department will present Damn Yankees Feb. 28, Mar. 1 and 2 at 7 p.m. in the Burton T. Seymour Auditorium at 111 Frederick St., Ilion. If there is a cancellation due to inclement weather, performances are scheduled as follows:

  • Thursday/Friday Snow Date: March 2 at 2 p.m.
  • Saturday Snow Date: March 3 at 2 p.m.

The ticket cost is $9.00 each and seating is reserved. No exchanges or refunds will be given on tickets purchased.

Tickets go on sale to the public Thursday, Feb. 14 in the Central Valley Academy Main Office from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.  The office will be closed Feb. 18 and 22 and tickets will not be available for purchase.

Damn Yankees is based on the novel, The Year the Yankees Lost the Pennant by Douglass Wallop. The musical is a story about a baseball fan, Joe Boyd, who traded his soul to the Devil in order to win the pennant against the New York Yankees.  To read more about the production, view the full synopsis on the Theatre International website.
