Once again, the tree inside the entrance at Harry M. Fisher Elementary School is decorated with winter gear. The school will distribute the warm clothing on Gifting Hats, Mittens & Scarves Tree to good homes.
As always, Fisher’s Thunder family stepped up to make the project a success. Fisher families and friends purchased and donated dozens of hats, mittens and scarves. This year there are even some hand-knitted items thanks to a Fisher alumnus who now lives in Florida. She saw last year’s tree online and inquired about contributing this year.
“Thanks so much everyone for your generosity,” said Fisher PTO Treasurer and Secretary JoAnn Duga.
