Integrated Pest Management
The Central Valley Central School District uses current Integrated Pest Management practices to reduce the use of pesticides in our buildings and on our grounds. It many be necessary, however, to use pesticides periodically during the year.
New York State law requires that schools and BOCES maintain a list of parents or guardians who wish to receive written notice forty-eight hours prior to a pesticide application at their child’s facility.
If you wish to be included on the School District notification list or for further information on the District’s pesticide program please contact: Mr. Brady Boyd at 894-5000 ext 55600 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. You will then receive advance notification requirements, except in the event of an emergency application in response to a threat to public health.
