Jarvis regifted rummage sale captures meaning of holiday

gift items spread across tables

Jarvis Yearbook Club’s annual “Regifted Rummage Sale” reflects the spirit of the holidays and the love of community.  Central Valley staff and others donated gently use items and one extra special person donated new toys. Because Jarvis is divided between CVA and Barringer, the group held the fundraiser in both buildings.

Students “shop” in small groups during their lunch periods at a “five and dime store” located in each building. Items sell for $.25 to $5.  Students can also earn coupons from their teachers for store credit.  After picking out the perfect gift for their family members, student then wrap their presents!

Thank you to all donated, organized, and helped throughout. You demonstrated the caring we see everywhere in our Central Valley community. You made this holiday a little brighter!!
