How long have you been teaching or working in the district?

This is my first year at Central Valley.

What do you like best about what you do?

I love watching my students become excited about math. That moment when their practice and effort begins to pay off and the lightbulb is lit; I love that!

What event here at Central Valley CSD has made/makes a difference to you personally and in your career?

AIS Math has been my dream position for years – the opportunity to work at CV doing what I love in the first year that I was hired has been a dream come true!

Where were you educated?

I attended Canajoharie Senior High School. I earned my BA in Childhood Education at SUNY Oneonta and received my MS online through the American College of Education.

If you could do anything on a weekend, what would you do?

I really enjoy visiting friends and taking day trips to places that I’ve never been.

What book and/or author are you currently reading?

I’m currently reading a book by Beverly Lowry; but I also like Gillian Flynn and Erica Spindler.

If we were to listen to your iPod or sound system, what would be playing?

The genre would most likely be country, but I have a little bit of everything.

What is your favorite television show/movie/actor?

I like The Big Bang Theory, Blacklist, and Grey’s Anatomy.

What one thing would you share that people might not know about you?

I like working on DIY projects and scrapbooking/crafting in my free time.
