Meet student Jude Fajardo

Photo of Barringer Road Elementary student Jude Gabriel P. FajardoHi! My name is Jude Gabriel P. Fajardo. I am in fourth grade at Barringer Road Elementary School in Mrs. Earl’s class.

What is your favorite thing about school?

My favorite thing about Barringer Road School is that it focuses more on character that I do believe would help me to become a better student, a better son, and a better citizen to our nation.

What have you learned that you think is important?

I have learned that character counts in everything we do. As a student, I could set myself to be an example to other students by being responsible through studying my lessons, helping other students and respecting everyone.

If you could change just one thing about school, what would that be?

I would want to put a playground closer to the fourth and third grade wing because going from the fourth and third grade wing to the playground by the kindergarten wing takes time off from recess.

What would you like to do for a living some day?

I would like to be a video game maker, a robot maker, and a cartoonist.

Do you participate in any activities outside of school? If so, What do you do and what do you like best about those activities?

Right now I have just finished my basketball season. But one good thing I like the most about basketball is that it made me improve my understanding of teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship.

If you could do anything on a weekend, what would you do?

I would study old lessons, practice playing my recorder, and read a book.

What is your favorite book?

What is your favorite song or kind of music?

“Everything is awesome!”

What is your favorite television show or movie?

The Lego Movie

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

I would want to go to Japan because I’d like to expose myself on how to make a video game with its special effects, how to build a robot, and how to create an anime character in a show or movie.  I think that would help me prepare for what I want to do for a living in the future.

What one thing would you share that people might not know about you?

On the first look they might think that I am not disciplined in terms of diet. At an early age I’m adopting the mentality of my father through proper diet. I eat a lot of fruits, vegetables and fish. I also have a cheat day once in a while but as much as possible I keep myself on diet so that I could maintain a weight necessary for my age.
