Staff from The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Mohawk Valley delivered a generous collection of school supplies to Barringer Road and Fisher elementary schools in mid September.

"COVID-19 and the future of Remington Arms has made it hard on many of our families," said Barringer Road Principal Aaron Carey.

"Not having to purchase school supplies is a real help for many. We'd like to thank the staff and residents of The Grand for thinking of our young students."

Fisher Elementary Principal Michele Pilla  said she sees students everyday whose families are struggling due to COVID related layoffs.

"These supplies will enable us to quietly provide students with some basic tools they need to learn."
