When Central Valley calls its first snow day of the 2020-21 school year, all students will attend classes virtually.

"Before the first flake falls, parents and students need to know that Central Valley will hold virtual classes on that first snow day," said Superintendent Jeremy Rich.
"Our in-person students will be home, so this is the perfect chance to again practice our virtual learning skills."

Mr. Rich said that another practice day prepares us to pivot to a virtual learning model should a COVID outbreak occur in a class, a building or the district.

At this time, any additional snow day after this next practice virtual day would be treated as a regular snow day; students would have the day off from school.
