CVA NNDCC cadets proudly represented their school and their program at the Richfield Springs Memorial Day parade on May 31.

Cadets Nathan Clark, McKyle Coon, Charles DeCarr, Alexandria Duga, Connor Dyn, Delaney Francisco, Connor Mack, Matthew Martinez, Chole Salsman, Nicholas Shedd, and Josh White led the parade alongside parade organizers, the Richfield Springs American Legion. The CVA Color Guard of Jaden Crouch, Kayla Gleim, Lacy, May and Emma Morey carried the American and POW/MIA flags.

"The parade stressed the importance of unity, discipline, and honoring those who died for the freedoms we all cherish," said Cadet Nicholas Shedd.

CVA cadets frequently participate in patriotic events throughout the area.

"It's great to see our program involved within the community. It gives me hope for the future leadership in our nation," said NNDCC instructor Chief Matthew Snyder.
