Superintendent of Schools Jeremy Rich recorded this video providing an overview of how school will look when Central Valley students return to school on September 7.
Mr. Rich said there are two goals—to return all students to in-person learning and to keep students and staff safe.
"Our goal is to get students back in front of teachers," he said.
"And that's really important, because we recognized last year that that is our best model."
He said if it means wearing masks to accomplish those two goals, then we're willing to do that.
In accordance with state requirements, everyone in school will have to wear a mask whenever it is not possible to social distance.
