Here are important dates and information for PreK and new-to-district kindergarten students and their families.

PreK Student Information

PreK Practice Bus Run — Aug. 26

This is an opportunity for your child to get acquainted with riding the school bus . Transportation Supervisor, Chad Francisco will contact families in late August with more information. Just a reminder, masks must be worn by both the parent and child while riding on the school bus at this time. 

Classroom Placement Letters — Late August

You will receive a letter in late August notifying you of who your child’s classroom teacher will be.

PreK Orientation — Sept. 7-10

Each child will have an appointment to come to school to meet his/her teacher and learn more about our PreK program. That appointment was included with a letter sent to parents/guardians in late July.  Just a reminder, masks must be worn by anyone entering the school  building including children and adults at this time .  If for any reason you cannot attend your scheduled date, please call the Fisher main office at 315-866-4851. 

First Day of School — PreK students

The first day of school for PreK will be Monday, Sept. 13.

Additional Information

Your child will need the following for the first day of school on Monday, Sept. 13.

  • Backpack
  • Sneakers for Physical Education
  • Towel for rest time

The school will provide school supplies for your child. There is no need to send supplies to school. It is recommended, however, that you have the following at home to complete family projects:  crayons, glue sticks, and scissors.

Kindergarten:

New-to-the-district only Kindergarten Practice Bus Run — Aug. 26

New-to-the-district -only Kindergarten Meet and Greet — Tuesday, Aug. 24

Parents may stop in anytime 10 a.m.-noon to meet their child’s teacher and visit the classroom. This gives you and your child an opportunity to meet the teacher and go over important information for the 2021-22 school year.  Just a reminder, masks must be worn by anyone entering the school  building including children and adults at this time. Please call the Fisher main office at 315-866-4851 if you are unable to attend.

First Day of School 

Your child’s first day of school will be Tuesday, Sept. 7.
