The Central Valley Central School District Foundation recently announced the district’s employees of the fourth quarter.

“We are incredibly proud to recognize the employees and staff who continually adapted to the challenges of this school year,” said Molly Bonnell, Foundation publicity chair. “We are thankful for all of the district’s employees who went above and beyond in supporting our students as they continued to learn and grow during these unprecedented times.”

The recognition program acknowledges students and employees each quarter with the hope that there will be recipients from each school building: Fisher and Barringer Elementary Schools, Jarvis Middle School, and CVA High School, as well as at the district level and CVCSD bus garage. If no nominations are received for a certain building, an additional student or employee from another building may be recognized.

The fourth quarter employee recipients include Ryan Canipe, teacher at Barringer Road Elementary; Michelle Judware, teacher at Fisher Elementary; Laurie Landry; Jarvis principal’s secretary; and Michelle Winfield; teacher at Barringer Road Elementary. No nominations were received for the high school, at the district level, or for the CVCSD bus garage.

While the Foundation did not receive any nominations for students within the district, Bonnell acknowledged the hard work students have put in during such a challenging school year.

“We know this was a difficult school year for everyone as they adapted to remote and hybrid learning, as well as the ever-changing protocols for in-person learning and extracurricular activities,” Bonnell said. “We are proud of all of our students, parents, and employees for working together to make this a successful year.”

Community members who would like to nominate a faculty or staff member for the quarterly recognition can find the nomination form at or on the Central Valley Central School District Foundation Facebook page. Selected employees and students will be announced near the end of each marking period.
