Hall of Fame honors exceptional alumni

The Central Valley CSD Hall of Fame recognizes alumni who served the Mohawk, Ilion, and Central Valley school districts, those who served community, and those who distinguished themselves in their careers.

The Hall of Fame inducted its first honorees in March 2017 and continues this fine tradition each year.

The Hall of Fame committee, made up of school and community representative, selects Hall of Fame members from a list of people nominated by friends and family.

Anyone may nominate an alumnus through an online form or on a paper form available as a download or from the district office. All nomination forms and supporting documents are due Dec. 15. The Central Valley School District Hall of Fame Selection Committee will review the nominations and select those who they feel meet the criteria described in the Hall of Fame Constitution.

Inductees are invited back for a formal induction ceremony and luncheon. Each honoree also receive a plaque acknowledging his or her contributions.

The Hall of Fame is self-sustaining; it receives no school district funding. To help underwrite the cost of the luncheon and the plaques, the committee invites local businesses and individuals to sponsor a table at the annual induction luncheon. Contributors will be recognized at the induction and on the district website for their commitment to promote this proud local tradition. To attend or contribute, please contact the district office at 315-894-9934.
