Residents wanting to know more about Central Valley’s proposed capital project are invited to attend one or more of the district’s upcoming community presentations.
Superintendent Rich Hughes will walk through the proposal and answer questions during each of the community meetings. Each meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Dates and locations are as follows:
- Monday, Apr. 27, Fisher Elementary cafeteria
- Tuesday, Apr. 28, Barringer Road Elementary cafeteria
- Wednesday, Apr. 29, Central Valley Academy large group instruction room
- Thursday, Apr. 30, Jarvis Middle School auditorium
Dr. Hughes will highlight the general project at each presentation, then focus on greater detail for the building in which he presents. In addition, he will point out that small changes to the project combined with updated building aid information have reduced the anticipated tax levy impact to $0.
“Over the next few weeks, I plan to present to staff and community members. My goal is to make certain everyone’s questions are answered so they can cast an informed ballot on May 19,” he said.
