Possible foul weather forces transportation changes for CVA Senior Ball

The forecast calls for potential snow and dangerous travel conditions for Saturday’s Senior Ball at Breezes in Utica. Rather than cancel or postpone the event, school administrators and class advisors met with students on Thursday, Jan. 15 to discuss options. The group settled on the following:

To better ensure our students’ safety, Central Valley Academy is offering students two transportation options:

  1. Students may travel via a school-provided bus at no charge, or
  2. Students may drive themselves or be chauffeured by their parents or a limousine service IF parents provide a signed note stating they accept responsibility for their child’s safe travel to and from Breezes. Notes must submitted by end of school on Friday, Jan. 17. Students without a signed note will need to ride the bus so we can better ensure their safety.

Please feel free to call CVA Principal Dick Keeler at 315-895-7471 with any questions.

Parents of in-district students signed-up to attend the Senior Ball received this information via a SchoolMessenger call/text/email at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15
