October’s family project had Fisher’s kindergarten students choosing their favorite book and turning a pumpkin into the main character. The creativity and artistic touches made this years “Pumpkins on Parade” an AMAZING sight to see!
The students really love working on projects at home with their family. “I liked decorating and painting my pumpkin with my daddy,” said Fisher Elementary kindergarten student Cade Ciallelo.
Family projects are sent out each month to encourage parent involvement and provide a fun and creative way for families to spend time together. Kindergarten teacher Gina Scaparo commented, “It is always exciting to see what our families send in!” The students and their families look forward to creating more projects throughout the year.
