Schoff named DAR Good Citizen

Central Valley Academy proudly announces senior Jacob Schoff is the school’s Col. Marinus Willett-Mohawk Valley Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen. Jacob’s teachers and classmates nominated him as the student in the Class of 2019 who best embodies the award’s criteria of service, leadership, patriotism and dependability.

Jacob is a top ranking student, having earned a CVA Academic Achievement Award for three consecutive years. He is a captain of the varsity cross country and basketball teams. He also serves as CVA National Honor Society president and a team leader of the Youth Summit CVA team. CVA faculty selected him last year as one of three students to represent the school at American Legion Boys State, a governmental leadership conference.

Jacob is the son of Richard and Deborah Schoff of Ilion.
