Utica Comets present Fisher with street hockey equipment

Representatives from the Utica Comets American Hockey League team presented Fisher Elementary with new street hockey equipment on Wednesday, April 11.

The gift was thanks to Fisher student Marlowe Schrader who placed first among first graders in the Comets’ 2017-18 student coloring contest. In addition to the new hockey equipment for her school, Marlowe received her own i-Pad and a VIP night at a Comets game.

Because she is a member of Amy Brien’s first grade class, the entire class was able to join the celebration. Even more fun was breaking in the new hockey equipment.
