CVCSD Foundation names 2nd Quarter Employee Award recipients

The Central Valley Central School District Foundation has recognized the following as recipients of its 2nd Quarter Employee Award:

• Nancy Cook–Barringer Road Food Service. A coworker nominated Nancy for going "above and beyond to uplift and care for all the students that she interacts with."
• Kaitlin Eisenhut-Freedman–Fisher Occupational Therapist. A coworker nominated Kaitlin for her love for children, ensuring students receive needed services, willingness to observe children and offer tips, and for being a friend to all staff members.
• Alex Prue–Fisher and Barringer Road PE Teacher. A coworker nominated Alex for being "exceptional patient and kind with all students."
• Madeline Helmer–Barringer Road 1:1 Aide. A parent nominated Madeline saying, "Being a 1:1 aide can be difficult but he has made sure to truly get to know my son and build a relationship that has helped him grow this year."
• Courtney Fisher–Barringer Road Classroom Aide. Classroom teacher Colleen Olivella nominated Courtney for working with students to support their emotional and academic learning, citing "her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and unwavering commitment to make a meaningful difference in our classroom every single day."
