Picture the excitement when CVA senior athletes met Fisher PreK-1 students as they got off their school buses on Friday, Sept. 29! Throw in some bubbles and music and the day became magical.
Senior members of the boys and girls soccer, football, boys and girls cross country, field hockey, and cheer teams joined in for Fisher Fan Friday (otherwise known as the Senior Parade of Athletes). They greeted Fisher students at the buses, then paraded through the halls where everyone—bus and car riders and walkers—had the opportunity to cheer on their favorite high school stars.
"This is an important event for everyone," said Fisher principal Jessica Bowman.
"The athletes are recognized for their years of hard work. The Fisher students get to interact with the 'big kids' and begin to dream of a day when they are a part of a high school team."
