On Nov. 30, Harry M. Fisher Elementary recognized November's Bucket Filler BFFs—those students who demonstrated November's Bucket Filler trait: Kindness.
"Kindness is being friendly, generous, and considerate," said principal Jessica Bowman.
"Our November Bucket Fillers help encourage a culture of kindness at Fisher Elementary through their positive attitude and behavior. Kind students brighten everyone's day. Kind words and actions are contagious and can spread throughout a classroom and the school."
Each month, the Bucket Filler program focuses on just one trait. The goal is to slowly give students the tools they will need to get along with others at school, at home, and at work.
Bucket Filler t-shirts were purchased with donations from the Central Valley Elementary Parent Teacher Organization and the Central Valley Central School District Foundation.
