CVA's Burton T. Seymour Auditorium will again resound with amazing music as it hosts LAC's Got Talent at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Apr. 25.
The evening features a wide range of student and professional performers, including:
- CVA Chamber Choir
- CVA Chamber Strings
- CVA Jazz Ensemble
- CVA Performance Theatre Class
- Jarvis Vocal Thunder
- Central Valley Music Department teachers
- Artists from Living Arts Collaborative
Tickets can be purchased at the door—$12 for adults and $8 for students. Proceeds benefit Living Arts and Central Valley Fine Arts Scholarships.
Living Arts Collaborative is a collection of professional musical artists who share their talents and experiences with school age students through performances and workshops. During their time at Central Valley, they will work individually in groups, helping Thunder artist refine their musical skillset. They will also perform the elementary schools, introducing young students to the joy and possibilities of music. The group includes some of New York City’s finest musicians who perform in venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, Jazz at Lincoln Center, the New York Philharmonic, and on Broadway.
