On Feb. 29, Harry M. Fisher Elementary recognized February's Bucket Filler BFFs—those students who demonstrated the month's Bucket Filler trait: Honesty.

"Honesty is more than simply acting without deceit. People who are honest are trustworthy, loyal, fair, and sincere, said principal Jessica Bowman.

"Our February Bucket Fillers helped encourage a culture of honesty at Fisher Elementary through their behavior and speech. They become examples that other students recognize and follow. Thank you to our February Bucket Fillers for contributing to a more inclusive and connected school environment, and a sense of belonging for all."

Each month, the Bucket Filler program focuses on just one trait. The goal is to slowly give  students the tools they will need to get along with others at school, at home, and at work.

Bucket Filler t-shirts were purchased with donations from the Central Valley Elementary Parent Teacher Organization and the Central Valley Central School District Foundation.
