4 students, holding t-shirts, ladder, chair, bulletin board

Hard work recently paid off for four CVA students. Each managed to lift a combined 500 or 1,000 pounds in three lifts—bench press, deadlift, and squat. Their names are now added to the "Raising the Bar" banner hanging in the school fitness center.

The club is one of the ways CVA works to improve the strength and general health of the students. During the school day and after school, Justin and Liz Hoffman of Movement, Strength, & Fitness operate the fitness center and support students in achieving their fitness goals. They work with all students, whether or not they are athletes.
