In June, Jarvis Middle School took part in a districtwide Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and Mental Health Day.

Prior to the day, grade 5-8 students shared ideas for activities they felt that fit the theme. Jarvis teachers considered those ideas, then put together a day filled with focused on health and fun. Students enjoyed team-building activities, cornhole. E-sports, physical education activities, movies, an ice-cream truck, and a bouncy house. Eighth graders also took part in an interactive wellness presentation.

The day aligned with the district's ongoing commitment to support student SEL and mental health.

Take a look at some more of the fun.
