In October, Fisher Elementary students had the chance to learn about fire safety from real firefighters.
Firefighters from the Ilion Fire Department rolled into the back traffic circle with their ladder truck. They talked about important things like not playing with fire, making certain every home has working smoking alarms, and trusting firefighters to keep you safe. All of the students had the chance to practice two important fire safety skills - "stop drop and roll" and "crawl low under smoke."
