One of the best tools to combat bullying is for bystanders to become upstanders. That was an important lesson in Jarvis Middle School's student-led assembly against bullying.
Students performed two skits with scenarios on how to be an upstander when you witness bullying. Music teacher Andrea Nitti organized students, helped them learn their lines, and choreographed the skits. Students and staff appreciated all of their efforts into making a memorable lesson engaging and meaningful for Jarvis students.
