All Central Valley CSD families are invited to "Emotion Into Art" at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1 in the Jarvis Middle School auditorium. The event is free.
"Emotion Into Art" features artist Tom Varano who blends art and storytelling into an inspirational message for young and old. Tom speed paints a 4' x 5' portrait while sharing his life story and encouraging others to be their best. The subject of his painting is a person of interest to his audience. At the end, he donates the canvas to the school. As he paints, he encourages his listeners to be their best. That message touches both young and old.
"During the day, Tom will present to students. In the evening, he will share his message with community members. Many students will want their families and friends to come on Thursday to see the presentation," said Jarvis principal Luke Manolescu.
