On March 28, Harry M. Fisher Elementary recognized March's Bucket Filler BFFs—those students who demonstrated the month's Bucket Filler trait: Perseverance.

"Perseverance is sticking to something, even when it's hard. When our students persevere, they push through to find success," said principal Jessica Bowman.

"Our March Bucket Fillers model their willingness to stay on task and meet each challenge. It pays off in the end as they create new healthy habits, improve in school, and learn that hard work pays off. Our hope is that their fellow students see that it is worth persevering. Thank you to our March Bucket Fillers for reminding us all that positive outcomes require steady effort."

Each month, the Bucket Filler program focuses on just one trait. The goal is to slowly give  students the tools they will need to get along with others at school, at home, and at work.

Bucket Filler t-shirts were purchased with donations from the Central Valley Elementary Parent Teacher Organization and the Central Valley Central School District Foundation.
